Lord, bless the interns as they begin this exciting journey. I have seen what a tremendous stress they can be placed under. I have also seen what a tremendous blessing they can be and the influence they can have in the lives of the Fortress kids. Give them peace and wisdom. Help them rest when they are able. Use them in all the ways you have planned for them this summer and bless the Fortress ministry through them.

David C

Thanks Stacy. I will try to keep up with the blog, i think it is easier than an exclusive group and i'm okay with it being public.

For some reason I'm moved to pray for Royleisha. I remember teaching he when she was very little at Fortress, and now she's a leader in the group! She has a peaceful, good-natured quiet spirit about her that God is definitely using. I pray that she would exert a powerful influence and that her relationship with Jesus will grow stronger with each passing day. I pray for her safety and her protection. Lastly, I pray for her purity that frankly, many of our young ones throw away thoughtlessly, making rash decisions that change the course of their life. Amen.

Mike R.
