IGNITE
Ignite serves as our mentoring program for youth ages 11 and up. A mentor is a trusted adult friend with a long-term commitment to providing guidance and support to a youth, with a consistent focus on assisting the development of the character and capabilities of the young person.
Fortress mentors must commit to one year of service consisting of weekly phone calls and participation on specified IGNITE Sundays (usually the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at Fortress, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm). IGNITE Sundays are designed to offer one-on-one relationship-building activities, group fellowship, praise and Bible study, and a shared meal provided by one of our host churches.
